yakimix sushi smokeless grill restaurant

Since my friends from former work heard that im leaving pinas probably in two weeks, they arranged a dinner date for us. At first i insisted that we go to Vikings instead kaso we're number 72 pa on the waiting list, so yakimix it is! Dahil 7pm na, we we're number 13 on the list.. mabilis naman ng konti mga 30 minutes siguro kami nag wait. The buffet table's divided into sections, Raw section for grilling consisting of meats, chicken, beef, pork, shrimps, squids, fish but i prefer the bacon like rolls with veggies inside too bad that time di available yung me mushroom na wrap. Then there's the maki, sushi, tempura section, i didnt really fancy the sushi's tastes ordinary lang nothing special.. my only favorite is the one with cheese on top. Too bad i wasnt able to photograph the buffet table since bawal daw sabi ng mga staffs. i took photo of my plate though, i'll arrange it later kasi mobile lang gamit ko now. The sweets section is ok. cakes are from red ribbon, ice drops available me mga tarts din kaso matabang and feels like eating sand. The worst part of the dining experience was the serving of drinks super tagal 30 minites yata kami nag wait at mga 5 times namin niremind yung waiter about our drinks, more on spicy pa naman mga ginrill ko waaahh hahhaha! Overall it was ok, average lang... but adding a few bucks i suggest u go to Vikings nlang for more Variety of selections. Value for money siguro for 620 plus 75 pesos drinks and tasteless tempura mejo pricey. If i wer to rate the food mga 6/10 just as i say average lang walang super standout for me. Will i recommend it? yeah sure pag feel mo mag grill hehehe but try to get reservations nlang to vikings or buffet 101. Will i go back? siguro pero matatagalan. i'll post the pics nga pala later on how we hide the leftovers to avoid extra charge hehehe

those are the words kenny rogers used to describe their new entree' , the chicken burrito. I tried it and in a scale of 1-10 siguro i'll give it a 6. Mas bet ko ang taco bell burrito's. Price is 95 pesos. Sakto lang to end my sundate with kurt (he took the photo's of me devouring the burrito :-) )

my shihtzu polo's new look

just got home from straight duty, im so eager umuwi agad kasi pinagroom nila mama si polo boy ko. I panicked when they called yesterday and said kinalbo daw! huwaaattttt!!! my shocked reaction was heard all over the OPerating Room complex hahaha! Pero pag kita ko kanina ok naman neat nga eh tska in 2 months hahaba ulit hair nya. He smelled oh so good too! Not bad for a 350 worth grooming service :-)

Random thoughts : lighter

I never thought something this little would mean alot to me, well kasi siguro galing to ke "pringles"... Its been almost 2 months na since a heard from him, i do miss him from time to time, but its best na dn siguro na ganto. He probably wont remember this lighter pero sikat to sa ospital hehehe alam nila dko to pagpapalit kahit sampung zippo, kasi eto lang natitirang nagreremind skn na we once hang out and he has been someone special to me...... #sentimental fool

Kurt got home super excited! he showed me what he bought from his 50 pesos na hiningi sa akin last week pa. Tada! Indian paper art? I never heard such thing akala ko origami from japan yung book, anyways bilib na bilib si kurt sa indian na nag demo at sa tingin daw nya mayaman na daw yun dahil best seller ang book nya na ni hindi naman mukhang book hehehe. So ang ending he forced me to do the paper art thing mas magaling daw ako sa indian sure daw sya hahhaha (patay!) the RESULT:

Bored nanaman ako kaya naisip ko to go to SM rosario since later in the afternoon pa ang grooming sched ni polo. Then i saw this. Naengganyo naman ako sa drawing at sa sales talk ng sales lady and besides 59.75 pesos lang naman hehehe. Dali dali kong pinalagay ke tata and voila! Ang chaka hahaha parang walang pambili ng acetone ang peg hahaha oh well! Sa kakuriputan ko magpamani pedi sa nail files eto inabot hahaha

At dahil mamatay matay na ako sa bored kasi 3 days na ako sa bahay due to my CTO and Off, i literally dragged kurt para mag SM bacoor hehehe. Ikot ikot lang. No budget eh kaya i told him kakain lang kami tapos uwi na kaso naisahan ako bumili din sya ng toy. Sa toy kingdom i saw this.

Price range: 1600 - 2700 pesos too expensive naman hahaha sana me magbigay nlang kaso impossible over aged nko for this hahaha. Napaghahalatang deprived ako sa dolls nung kabataan ko. Dati kasi pag me doll ako bawal buksan nasa box lang dko naexperience laruin kasi pinapangdisplay lang... Magugusot daw ang damit tska masisira ang buhok. Tapos iiyak nlang ako pag ang barbie ko na inasam buksan ireregalo lang sa kapitbahay o kahit sinong me birthday hahaha. Kaya pag nakakakita ako ng doll sa mall natutuwa ako, hindi nga lang reasonable bumili pero i always feel giddy inside seeing beautifully dressed dolls.

Amansinaya Mountain Resort Laurel Batangas

Its been a rough week for me, totally an emotionally toxic week it has been (better way to describe it). I was thinking of giving myself a break, something different from the usual malling or dining out.  I didnt reply right away coz i need to form my travel buddies first hehehe. So to make the long intro short, Off to amansinaya we go!

 Its an almost 3 hours trip from dasma cavite we took a van to tanauan (105 pesos)  eto yung bayaran sa terminal hahaha ang bangis eh! Nice one GL!

 then from tanauan a tricycle ride to talisay terminal from talisay terminal we ride a jeepney for 50 pesos but they offered to drive us in front of amansinaya if we double our fare, and since we're excited and super hungry its a deal na manong!

 We enjoyed the view and was astonished by the beautiful scenery specially taal, ive never seen it that close. Manong driver drove us up to the patio and gave us his phone number in case we nid a ride home. We cant help but get excited as we passed by the activity areas, theres the zipline, the mudslide, the giant soccerball (i love that ball hahaha) and the rest of the  obstacle course. 

 We were entertained by the staff and suggested that we should do the activities in the camp first before eating lunch and go trekking. Since madali kami kausap at excited sumunod naman kami hahaha. We did basically everything.

After the oh so heavy lunch we were informed that the 2nd trek would start at 1 PM. With heavy stomach we headed to the shuttle and they dropped us to the starting point. A guide was assigned to led us to the whole rainforest but unfortunately we were lost kakapicture hahaha! we're able naman to find the way though, we followed the footprints chos! Plus mind you! naging extra challenge pa sa amin ang biglang pag ulan, amazing race ang dating pero ubod ng memorable at saya!

 

It was challenging yes for us specially kasi d kami handa physically hahaha pero worth it pag nakita mo na ang falls, good thing kasama namin ang tropang boys para alalayan kami sa matatarik, madulas at mababatong daan na mala takeshi's castle. Bago marating ang falls u have to cross 5 rivers... Very fun activity and worth the value for your money.  Will i recommend it to friends? Definitely! Will i ever go back here? Of course! Though i want to try something else like white water rafting in Cagayan De Oro :-)
